Lighting is addictive...a little is nice, more is impressive, and a lot can be AWESOME! Seeing the bold, changing colors makes an event more interesting and seem more special. Imagine what a modern concert would be like without the lightshow! I've been investing heavily in elaborate lighting for several years now, and I probably have the most lighting capability of any "small" DJ company in the area. If you have an event that calls for special lighting (or just lots of it), contact me for details and a great price!

Basic Lighting: Included with every standard-priced system!
Consists of (2) T-Bar tripod stands with (4) LED washlights on each. While this is a basic lighting system, it still is capable of many bright colors and sound-active programs that change with the beat of the music.

"Fun" Lighting: Just $50 more!
This upgrade adds dynamic fixtures with colorful light "beams" and motion, plus it adds DMX control for more variety in the color and activity of the lighting "scenes". This option is preferable for events where a lot of dancing is expected!

Premium Lighting: Call or email for options & pricing
This is where it gets fun! I have dozens of fixtures, all different designs to suit different needs. Many are LED-based for safe, heatless operation near clothing or drapes. Fixtures can be used for popular "uplighting" on walls and drapery or standard "downlighting" from stands or trussing. Some fixtures put out a soft wash of light, while others put out an intense, spotlight beam with effects. Best of all, almost every light I have is programmable! That means you could have typical dance floor lighting, room uplighting, specialty effect lighting...whatever you like...and all programmable to coordinate colors or create special effects so the entire room becomes an active space! I offer computer DMX (lighting) control using Chauvet's excellent ShowXpress software and interface, wired or wireless DMX transmission, and even heavy-duty battery operation for remote locations where cables would be troublesome.

(Some models have links to more detailed info; try clicking the fixture name)
Basic Fun Premium
American DJ DJ Scan 250EX - DMX-controlled, 250-watt halogen moving-mirror "scanner" with many colors and gobos; shoots out a sharp beam that can be aimed in programmable directions.     *
American DJ Mega Flash DMX - Very bright (800 watts!), DMX-programmable strobe lights.     *
American DJ P56 LED - LED "par can" fixture with a variety of uses, including uplighting, truss warmer and general medium-flood stage lighting.     *
Blizzard G60 - Very similar to the Chauvet Q-Spot 260 LED, just a different look. Very bright, very capable, small moving head.     *
Chauvet 4Bar - This is the basis of my standard lighting, consisting of (2) tripod stands, each holding (4) LED medium-flood lights. * * *
Chauvet 4Play - This fixture slips over a stand mast and adds (4) "moonlight" effects to the 4Bar above     *
Chauvet COLORsplash 200B - Like the P56 above, but with more LED's and slightly different characteristics; used as a "color wash" or soft-edged spotlight for uplighting or stage wash.     *
Chauvet COLORstrip - Unlike any other fixtures, these are long, skinny LED-based lights that produce a variety of interesting colorful patterns and intense color wash. These are ideally suited to uplighting as they're easy to tuck out of the way, hug up against a wall, and they put out a wide swath of light.     *
Chauvet Hurricane Haze 2 - Like a smoke/fog machine, but it puts out a continuous, thin haze throughout a space quietly instead of the typical noisy blast of thick, white smoke that many people find bothersome. The haze simply enhances a lightshow, allowing the light beams to be seen without noticing the haze much itself. Because of the way they work, hazers can often be used in places where typical smoke machines would set off fire alarms.     *
Chauvet Intimidator Spot 250 - These are modern, very active lights with an incredibly bright beam that can be programmed to shine in just about any direction with a variety of colors and effects. They're floor-based (heavy!) and I have (4) available.     *
Chauvet O-Beast - One of the newest takes on the classic "derby" effect, only this one uses very bright, "wide-beam" LED technology that puts out a fat beam of colorful light.     *
Chauvet Omega 250C - DMX-controlled, 250-watt halogen color-changer that projects a powerful spotlight of rich color. This fixture has no motion, but a wide variety of dimmable colors and a sharp, bright beam.     *
Chauvet Q-Beam 260 LED - A unique moving head similar to the Q-Spot 260, but with a tight 6-degree beam angle. The tighter optics make this light INTENSELY BRIGHT...essentially a follow-spot built into a compact moving head fixture.     *
Chauvet Q-Spot 260 LED - An amazing little moving head with a super-bright beam and lightweight design! This is an LED-based fixture, so it draws very little power, but has all the features of my larger Intimidator Spot 250's. I currently have (10) of these, and will probably get more!     *
Chauvet Vue VI - One of the most amazing "disco" lights I've ever seen, the Vue VI looks like a sparkling diamond as it shoots out many beams of multi-colored, spinning light.   * *
Martin PR-1 Image Spotlight - This is a specialty fixture that is purely designed to project a bright image on a wall or floor (such as a bride & groom's names, a company logo or a multitude of other specialty sayings). The images are shaped by a custom "gobo" which is placed in the path of the bright beam inside the fixture. Gobos of just about any design can be ordered to suit any event (though it takes about 2 weeks for the gobos to be made and delivered). +$100 +$100 *
